If that’s the case, then you’ll know all about Starbeck’s level crossing. We’re located just 50 yards away on Camwal Road.

Once there, you’ll find a purpose-built service centre with four bays in all, where we perform jobs such as MOTs, servicing and repairs on all manner of makes and models.

We have state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostics, for example, while laser technology ensures our wheel alignment is second-to-none.

Meanwhile, we specialise in classic car repairs and can also perform specialist welding, enabling us to create mild or stainless steel exhausts on site.

So who are we? There are five of us in all, led by MDR Director Steve Maude.

Steve has been a fully-qualified mechanic for 30 years – and counting. The fact the boss still gets his hands dirty day-in, day-out tells you plenty about us and our commitment to excellent service.
